Marilyn Foubert is an artist and workshop
facilitator living in Vancouver BC Canada.
Capturing the energy beyond the conscious I lay down the initial map of my painting in quick brush strokes. As the painting evolves from the unconscious to the conscious, other possibilities for the painting emerge - looking beyond the obvious in search of new images.
For me the fun aspect is essential and I work towards provoking curiosity from the viewer. The relationship is always in the searching for what is needed to complete the journey. As in all life, trusting in the process of exploration is the inspiration for my work.
